In a few months, there should be plenty of used copies floating around if you are patient to wait out on this great game.

Dragon Age: Origins RPG shows the true mastery of developer BioWare’s over the art of building the worlds, the characters and of course the stories constituted of classics. The BioWare, as we know, is also the developer of the most famous games, Mass Effect and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.



The developer has create a free, browser-based tactical RPG game.  The combat system brings back a reminiscent of the classic Heroes of Might and Magic series. The giant armies of units are missing in it. Gamers can control maximum of three heroes in the game with the help of the stat systems. As time passes by, these heroes gain experience, jump levels and also learn some more new talents. Here gamers will take on bigger and even more bad enemies from the Dragon Age world like the famous darkspawn monsters Genlock Alphas and Ogres.

In each of the battle in Dragon Age: Origins, the units take turns moving across the field with the use of ranged and melee attacks.  There are two special attacks in the game to each type of enemy if we talk about Monster Secondary Attacks. So it is not only of using basic ranged or the melee attack.

While talking about the movement rules in the game, the rules of movement in this game is a bit different. In the earlier version, the characters could move once and then attack and use a talent, drink a position or else end their turn. In this successor version of the game the characters can move freely to any place within their walk radius before making use of talents or else attacking.  The talent affects and the animations in the game are further pushed of. Now there are more options and also the results pay off very good. The obstacles are randomly generated in the battlefield. Moreover, the players are forced to move around the field strategically and not getting into a base line duel.  The developer has also added some damage bonuses in the game for performing the backstabs and also for flanking maneuvers. This has further emphasized the importance of placing the characters strategically.

If we really look by combining all the above mentioned features and many more that are not mentioned here, one thing is confirmed that these will really deliver the potential that the Dragon Age Journeys has shown. This game, may be said, is a huge step taken forward by the developer if we compare the earlier flash-based RPGs.  Apart from all the above there are many other interesting features in Dragon Age: Origins. There are 3 base classes in it to choose from named rogue, warrior, and mage. These 3 classes is also upgradeable in specialized class anytime later. Some of the specialization classes are Berserker and Templar for the warrior,and Shapeshifter or Blood Mage for the mage.
